About The Position

This is a contract position based out of Austin, TX, focusing on Java development with an emphasis on testing. The role involves reviewing server automation test results, triaging failures, and contributing to the maintenance and development of server automation test suites. The ideal candidate will have strong object-oriented programming experience, particularly in Java, and deep expertise in API integration test development and extending existing test frameworks for web services. Collaboration with development teams in an Agile environment, strong problem-solving and debugging skills, and familiarity with Gradle, git, and CI/CD concepts are essential. Experience in an enterprise tech company is preferred.

Requirements

• Strong object-oriented programming experience (preferably Java).
• Deep experience in API integration test development
• Strong background in extending existing test frameworks for web services.
• Experience working closely with development teams in an Agile software development environment.
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills with meticulous attention to detail and with a diligent mindset.
• At ease with Gradle and git; expertise with continuous integration and continuous deployment concepts.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in an enterprise tech company is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review server automation test results and file bugs for failures.
• Triage failures of partner-facing automation and drive resolution.
• Maintain and contribute new tests to server automation test suites.
• Develop new server automation tests for enhancements to existing features.
