About The Position

Capgemini is hiring a Java Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise web applications. The role combines responsive frontend development with scalable Java backend services, API integrations, database work, and participation in architecture, code reviews, and Agile delivery. The developer will also troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance. The listed locations are New York, Chicago, IL, and Atlanta, GA.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Java (8/11/17+) and the Spring Boot ecosystem, including Spring MVC, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Hands-on expertise in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, design patterns, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Nice To Haves

• Angular 12 or later is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise web applications.
