About The Position
Atos is hiring a Java Developer with AI expertise to build and support software using Java, AI tools and workflows, and cloud technologies. The role is remote and candidates must already be located in Mexico. The position calls for hands-on cloud-native development, deployment, and monitoring, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), along with experience in REST APIs, distributed systems, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software engineering practices. Conversational English is required.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on professional experience.
- Strong Java development skills.
- Good experience using AI tools, including GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Claude, OpenAI APIs, and Spring AI, as well as agentic AI workflows.
- Hands-on expertise in cloud-native development, deployment, and monitoring; Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is preferred.
- Proficiency in REST APIs, distributed systems, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software engineering best practices.
- Conversational English.
- Must already be located in Mexico.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in the retail domain with exposure to merchandising platforms.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
