Duties: Developing new functionality to our existing platform. Providing support and deployment of backend API-s, coding, unit testing and general quality assurance of the API-s. Working closely with QA engineers, architects, tech leads on projects. Solving technical challenges on a day-to day basis. Building applications for scalability and performance. Writing clean, well-tested and maintainable code.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field plus 1 year of experience.
  • 1 years of experience with: J2EE technologies including servlets, JSP, JSP custom tags, XML, EJB and JDBC
  • Object-oriented analysis and design concepts and design patterns
  • Web development technologies including PHP, HTML, JavaScript, or similar
  • Implementation knowledge of front-end concepts including MVC or similar
  • Application servers including JBoss and Tomcat or similar
  • SQL and experience working with a RDBMS including Oracle or similar
  • Working in a UNIX or LINUX environment
  • HTTP protocol, request/response cycles, and session management.
