This position is responsible for the analysis, programming, and configuration of end user applications and/or systems software including: Analyzing detailed business/functional/technical requirements and specifications for the application. The focus is on coding internally developed applications and/or configuring commercial-off-the-shelf applications using programming, scripting, and database languages. Relies on intermediate experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, including: Supporting application testing, deployment, maintenance, correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding application enhancements. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Exceptional customer service to users of IT technologies by understanding and anticipating customer needs. Supports the strategic mission of the IT function as it relates to goals for the organization. Helps to develop and maintain a staff that is professional, service oriented, and well trained to provide positive reinforcement, as well as, opportunities for growth and development. Leads teams by maximizing each person’s ability to make a positive impact. Develops leadership by delegating authority and responsibility while maintaining ultimate accountability. Provides feedback for staff, to help professional development plans and goals in a timely and effective manner. Effectively build a network of contacts at all levels of the organization to maintain connectivity to the business and responsibilities and functions of each department. Serves as a role model and leader to those in IT and throughout the organization. Represents the company at outside business functions and attend educational seminars as needed. Exhibits high accountability for corporate guidelines regarding use of technology and security standards. Mentors and shares programming techniques with less experienced developers. Contributes to programming standards. Assists with in-house training classes. Continuously seeks opportunities for growth and development.
