About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with AWS to join a client project in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in building scalable web applications using React.js and developing cloud-native solutions on AWS. The candidate must be comfortable working onsite from Day 1 and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of genuine U.S. experience.
• Strong experience with React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with Redux, React Hooks, Context API, and RESTful APIs.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, and DynamoDB.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with backend REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket for version control.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Minimum 4 years of genuine U.S. experience.
• Strong React.js and AWS development experience.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Node.js or Express.js.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized deployments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Experience working on State or Government projects.
• Knowledge of responsive web design and accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React.js.
• Build reusable UI components and optimize applications for performance.
• Develop and deploy cloud-based solutions using AWS services.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Participate in code reviews, follow coding standards, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot application issues and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, QA teams, and stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure application security, scalability, and maintainability.
