About The Position

GHOSTGEM seeks a valiant Software Engineer, a noble artisan of logic and caffeine, to breathe life into its hallowed suite of applications. You shall develop, sustain, and troubleshoot software with the grace of a thousand git commits and the patience of someone who has read a 400-line stack trace and lived to tell the tale. Your days shall be filled with implementation, testing, and integration, weaving GHOSTGEM's code into a grand tapestry of COTS and FOSS products, packages, and libraries, like a master chef who doesn't care whether the ingredients are store-bought or foraged from the open-source wilderness, so long as the dish compiles.

Requirements

Linux CLI knowledge
Scripting in Bash and Python
Recent Java experience
Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Integration)
Experience with MongoDB
Experience with Docker and containerd
Experience with Kubernetes
Familiarity with Messaging Arts (RabbitMQ and Kafka)
Knowledge of CI/CD (Bamboo and GitLab CI)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible)
Proficiency in Git with meaningful commit messages
Top Secret clearance required
Favorable completion of a polygraph required
Authorized to work in the U.S.

Experience with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence)
Helm Chart Mastery (crafting Helm Charts and deploying containerized services into Kubernetes)
