About The Position
Our client, a leading financial services organization, is modernizing its payments ecosystem through a large-scale transformation initiative. They are implementing a new enterprise payments platform and building the surrounding services needed to support customer onboarding, virtual accounts, reconciliation, customer management, and other business workflows. This is an opportunity to join the team during the architecture and design phase and help build a scalable, cloud-native platform from the ground up.
Requirements
- Strong backend development experience with Java (Java 21+)
- Spring Boot
- API design and development
- Azure knowledge
- Kubernetes
- Event-driven architecture (Kafka)
- Experience building large-scale distributed systems
- PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB
Nice To Haves
- React or general UI development experience
- Payments domain experience (money movement, EFT, bill pay, transfers)
- Real-time payments experience
- Exposure to enterprise payments platforms
Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain APIs and microservices.
- Contribute to architecture and solution design discussions.
- Develop event-driven solutions using Kafka.
- Deploy and support applications in Azure and Kubernetes environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable systems.
