About The Position

Innova Solutions is hiring a Java Developer for its Deposits team in Columbus, Ohio. The team is building a new deposits platform, and the role involves new development rather than maintaining legacy systems. The position is contract to hire, with an initial duration of at least six months. The role is not eligible for business employer-sponsored immigration support.

The developer will work with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka, and AWS on systems serving a high volume of customers and transactions. Candidates should also be comfortable with CI/CD and API gateways. Front-end experience is a nice to have but is not required. An on-call weekend occurs every eight weeks and is not in the office.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least five years of experience with core Java.
• At least five years of experience with Spring Boot.
• At least five years of experience with microservices.
• At least five years of experience with Kafka.
• Experience with AWS required.
• Ability to work with CI/CD and API gateways.

• Front-end experience.
