About The Position
The role is for a Java Backend Developer focusing on Cloud Microservices. The resource will have experience developing Microservices in Java/Node.js and cloud environments (at least 3 years). The job involves 50% development and 50% DevOps, including testing automation, CI/CD deployments, Cloud setup, and production incident support.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in object-oriented design and software development using Java 8 and above
- 1+ year of experience with Spring Boot
- 2+ years of experience with Databases (SQL/NOSQL)
- 1+ years of experience in creating and/or consuming RESTful web services using Java and Spring-based frameworks
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
- Experience with messaging (e.g. Kafka, JMS, etc.) and event-driven architecture
Nice To Haves
- Solid grasp of various software design patterns and distributed computing
- Prior knowledge of Junit/TestNG for unit testing applications
- Solid understanding of relational and non-relational database technologies (SQL and Cosmos DB), data modeling and RESTful web APIs
- Familiarity with working in a collaborative environment using Agile SCRUM practices
- Working knowledge of multithreading APIs (Completable Future)
