About The Position

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer – Java Backend to support our U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Integrated Booking System (IBS) program. This role is primarily focused on the development, enhancement, and sustainment of Java-based backend applications and services that support mission-critical transportation and logistics operations. The Software Developer will design and develop backend services, APIs, integrations, and application components using Java and modern Java frameworks such as Spring Boot. The developer will work across the software development lifecycle, supporting new capabilities, system enhancements, defect resolution, integration, testing, and deployment. While exposure to front-end technologies such as Angular is beneficial, this position is best suited for a developer whose primary strength is Java backend development. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on Java development experience, experience building and supporting RESTful services and enterprise applications, and the ability to troubleshoot complex application and integration issues in a collaborative Agile/DevSecOps environment. This position is fully remote.
