About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Java AWS Developer to design, build, and deliver cloud-native, microservices-based platforms within a financial services environment. This role involves leading the development of scalable, secure, and resilient systems using modern microservices architecture, defining architectural patterns, and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and banking regulations. You will build high-performance backend services using Spring Boot and leverage GoLang for optimized, low-latency services, while also defining and managing infrastructure using Terraform and establishing best practices for automated provisioning and deployment pipelines. The role requires end-to-end ownership of full-stack engineering outcomes, particularly backend and API layers, and collaboration with frontend teams for seamless integration. You will design solutions that meet data privacy standards, ensure high availability, and optimize performance through engineering. This position also involves managing distributed teams, mentoring engineers, enforcing best practices, and engaging with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services.
• Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency in GoLang.
• Experience with DevOps tools, container platforms, and monitoring solutions.
• Familiarity with event streaming, API frameworks, and security protocols.
• Exposure to financial services domains.
• Strong awareness of compliance, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization using Docker or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure alignment with enterprise standards and banking regulations.

• Define and manage infrastructure using Terraform.
• Establish best practices for automated provisioning, deployment pipelines, and environment consistency.
• Oversee DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization.
• Take end-to-end ownership of full-stack engineering outcomes, particularly backend and API layers.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure seamless integration across systems.
• Design solutions that meet data privacy standards and ensure high availability for mission-critical functions.
• Optimize throughput, reduce latency, and implement resilience patterns through performance engineering.
• Manage distributed teams across onsite and offshore locations.
• Mentor engineers and enforce engineering best practices regarding code quality and secure coding.
• Engage with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
