About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Java AWS Developer to focus on cloud-native application development. The role involves building, deploying, testing, and supporting production-grade services. You will implement cloud equivalents of legacy functionality and participate in development, production deployments, performance testing, and production support. A key aspect of this role is to review, challenge, and implement designs.

Requirements

• Hands-on development using Lambda
• Hands-on development using SQS / SNS
• Hands-on development using S3
• Hands-on development using Step Functions
• Hands-on development using DynamoDB
• Database exposure: Snowflake
• Database exposure: Postgres
• Database exposure: Oracle / DB2 (integration perspective)
• Strong understanding of resiliency
• Strong understanding of failure handling
• Strong understanding of observability
• Strong understanding of production troubleshooting
• Infrastructure as Code experience
• Experience with Terraform
• Familiarity with internal frameworks (e.g., Terra-based wrappers)
• Ability to use existing modules
• Ability to provision infrastructure required for applications

Nice To Haves

• Strong preference for application developers with cloud depth
• Senior Java / Spring Boot engineers with real AWS production experience
• Experience across Java
• Experience across Spring Boot
• Experience across Node.js (many services are Node-based)
