About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Java Automation Engineer for a hybrid role with a Global Financial Institution. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. The role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of intelligent automation, machine learning, and business process automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a Java/Spring developer and will be responsible for building scalable automation frameworks and enterprise applications to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.

Requirements

Proven background as a Java/J2EE developer
Experience with Spring Framework, including Spring Boot
Proficiency in Python
Experience designing and implementing solutions on automation platforms

Nice To Haves

WorkFusion platform experience, including development and ML capabilities
Exposure to Machine Learning (ML)
Experience with ML Model development using both out-of-the-box models and Python
Experience working with distributed testing teams across multiple geographies
Knowledge of the banking domain

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of intelligent automation, machine learning, and business process automation solutions using Java, Python, and Spring Framework
Design and develop scalable automation frameworks, reusable components, and enterprise applications
Build, deploy, and maintain machine learning models and AI-driven solutions
Design and implement robust application architectures using Java, Spring Framework, Python, and RESTful APIs
Develop integrations between automation platforms, enterprise applications, databases, and APIs
Design and optimize data models and application integrations leveraging SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle
Drive automation modernization initiatives by identifying opportunities to apply AI and machine learning
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Develop secure, reliable, and maintainable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards
Participate in solution design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions
Support Agile delivery practices including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and estimation
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, automation, and integration issues
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve software quality and accelerate delivery
