In-Person Japanese Instructor
About The Position
LTC Language Solutions is seeking a Japanese instructor to provide face-to-face intensive lessons to one adult student near Yuba City, California. Classes will take place at a public library or the student's workplace. The schedule is four days per week, five hours per day, for a total of 20 hours per week, for up to eight months. The contracted duration is 600–800 hours, with a start as soon as possible based on instructor availability. Lessons should incorporate speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and pronunciation practice. The instructor is expected to supplement lessons with authentic materials and engaging activities. LTC will cover the cost of any needed textbooks. This is a freelance, independent contractor position. Qualified candidates will be contacted for an online interview.
Requirements
- Speak Japanese.
- Have experience teaching adult learners.
