About The Position

This is a temporary position that involves a variety of cleaning and light maintenance duties. The role requires the ability to perform tasks such as emptying trash, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, waxing floors, and replacing light bulbs. Additionally, the position involves light maintenance duties like painting, moving furniture, installing signs, and repairing park equipment. The role also includes assisting with vehicle maintenance and cleaning, performing grounds work, and general trash clean-up and landscaping.

Requirements

Knowledge of proper cleaning methods and equipment
Knowledge of cleaning solvents and solutions; how to mix and properly apply them
Knowledge of basic building maintenance
Interacts well with co-workers and public patrons
Current State-issued Drivers License
Comfortable working with power tools

Responsibilities

Empties trash, dusts, mops, vacuums and performs light cleaning for all areas
Waxes and polishes floors and cleans carpets
Replaces light bulbs in interior and exterior lights that are safely accessible
Notifies supervisor of required repairs and maintenance needs to buildings
Prepares meetings rooms and spaces
Light maintenance duties such as: painting, moving tables and chairs, installing signs, etc.
Repairs park equipment such as benches, tables, play equipment, etc. under direction of supervisor
Assists with maintenance upkeep and cleaning of vehicles
Performs light grounds work, trash clean-up and landscaping duties as needed
Performs other related duties as assigned
