About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. The role involves performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to uphold high standards of sanitation and cleanliness and support the comfort and safety of staff, visitors, and clients. This is a paid position in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles, with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures.
• Strong understanding of cleaning techniques.
• Ability to safely handle chemical agents and follow related safety procedures.
• Physical stamina for manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, bending, reaching, and prolonged standing or walking.
• Excellent attention to detail and focus on sanitation and cleanliness.
• Good communication skills and a customer-service-oriented attitude when interacting with staff or visitors.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while following safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal in designated areas.
• Safely handle cleaning and sanitation chemicals in accordance with chemical-handling safety procedures.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning operations.
• Support industrial or commercial cleaning projects that may require specialized techniques or equipment.
• Ensure cleaning activities comply with sanitation standards and health regulations.
