About The Position

JDog Cleaning Services is hiring a part-time Janitor to clean commercial facilities in Coatesville and Downingtown, Pennsylvania. The role covers two locations about 15 minutes apart, each of which must be cleaned once a week within its designated time window. One location may be cleaned between Thursday and 10 p.m. Saturday; the other must be cleaned after 5 p.m. Friday and by 11 p.m. Sunday. The locations may be cleaned on the same day or on separate days. One takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to clean and the other approximately 3 to 4 hours, for a total of 4.5 to 6 hours per week. The Janitor performs general cleaning duties, including cleaning bathrooms, offices, hallways, floors, surfaces, and waste areas. The position requires passing pre-employment background screening, a drug test, and employment verification. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, reaching, prolonged standing, and walking. Advancement opportunities, other sites with potential for full-time employment, day/night and weekend hours, and specialty cleaning opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

Clean bathrooms, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
Clean and maintain floors by vacuuming, mopping, and machine scrubbing.
Clean and maintain surfaces by dusting, sanitizing, cleaning glass, mirrors, and windows, and polishing metal or wood.
Empty trash and recycling bins and transport waste to proper disposal areas.
Perform other general cleaning duties as needed.
Clean each assigned location once a week within its designated time frame.
