About The Position

A well-known facility in Tyler, Texas, is hiring a Janitorial Worker. The role pays $13.14 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, with work hours varying depending on events; work may also be scheduled Monday through Saturday, with Sundays as needed. The worker performs facility cleaning and maintenance, assists with event setup and moving objects, completes department deliveries, and maintains equipment and supplies.

Requirements

Able to stand and walk for up to 6 hours daily.
Able to lift, carry, and push up to 50 pounds.
Able to work a variety of days and hours, including nights and weekends.
Able to work professionally with visitors and customers.
Knowledge of common cleaning products, wax applicators, and buffers.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, wax, and buff facility floors.
Gather and dispose of trash and waste.
Clean restrooms; wash walls, mirrors, and windows.
Clean lighting fixtures, window tops, and door frames; change light bulbs and ceiling tiles.
Operate and maintain mechanical cleaners and polishers.
Set up tables, chairs, stages, and other equipment.
Assist in moving objects.
Complete delivery of department items.
Perform grounds maintenance as required.
Maintain and organize equipment closets and report supply needs.
