About The Position

The Janitorial Technician is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of office buildings and operations control rooms. This role is primarily a second-shift position and requires a self-motivated individual capable of working efficiently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

GED or High School Diploma.
1+ years of cleaning experience in an office and industrial setting preferred.
Basic computer knowledge, familiarity with CMMS software a plus but not required.
Must have the ability to complete required safety classes.
Ability to pass preemployment and random drug screens.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in designated areas.
Perform carpet cleaning as scheduled.
Dust furniture, equipment, and surfaces.
Empty trash and recycling containers.
Utilize dishwasher and maintain cleanliness in break room and common areas.
Perform general clean-up tasks for office buildings and operations control rooms.
Clean assigned areas on a rotating scheduled basis.
Maintain janitorial equipment and supplies in good working order.
Work with Storeroom employees to maintain a sufficient stock of all cleaning materials and paper goods.
Primarily work second shift with occasional day-shift overtime required for special cleaning projects.
Work efficiently in a small team with minimal direct supervision.
Follow all safety guidelines and cleaning procedures as directed.
