The Janitorial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of buildings and restrooms, performing heavy cleaning duties, conducting routine maintenance, managing grounds including mowing and snow removal, and assisting with special event setup and tear down.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols and practices in all aspects of maintenance tasks.
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic environment that involves metal fabrication, light assembly, configuration, and RF testing for transmitters.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability to identify issues, analyze problems, and propose solutions under the guidance of a supervisor.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, in case of emergencies or urgent maintenance requirements.
  • A positive and proactive approach to work, contributing to a safe and productive work environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional technical certifications or vocational training in relevant fields.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety procedures is beneficial.
  • Previous experience in a related Janitorial Maintenance role.
  • Computer knowledge and understanding.

Responsibilities

  • Keep buildings and restrooms clean and in orderly condition.
  • Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing trash or waste materials.
  • Routine maintenance activities and notifying management of needed repairs or any potential safety hazards.
  • Maintaining grounds include mowing, debris removal and snow removal.
  • Special event preparation such as setup and tear down meeting rooms.
