About The Position

The Janitorial Team Member maintains the building and equipment by keeping the facility clean, safe, and operational. The role includes cleaning floors and carpets, replenishing bathroom supplies, wiping surfaces, taking out trash, and addressing spills with appropriate equipment while following safety rules. The position is based in Vancouver, Washington, and is full-time.

Requirements

• Be able to work both as part of a team and independently.
• Have cleaning skills and be able to work without close supervision.
• Know how to use a carpet steamer and other cleaning equipment.
• Be able to handle cleaning chemicals safely.
• Communicate comfortably with staff, guests, and vendors.
• Have problem-solving skills and look for ways to improve things.
• Prioritize safety and help create a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and carpets.
• Keep bathrooms clean and fully stocked.
• Wipe down surfaces.
• Take out the trash.
• Clean up spills using appropriate equipment.
• Follow safety rules and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
• Help maintain the building and equipment in safe, functional condition.
