About The Position

ABM is seeking a Front Half Day Janitorial Supervisor to oversee janitorial staff and ensure cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and in accordance with cleanliness and safety standards. This role involves scheduling, training, performance management, inventory monitoring, quality control inspections, and maintaining compliance with safety guidelines. The supervisor will also communicate with facility management and respond to urgent cleaning needs.

Requirements

Previous experience in janitorial supervision, facility maintenance, or a related field.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
Experience in a large warehouse/distribution center environment.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Respond to urgent cleaning requests and emergencies in a timely manner.
Maintain compliance with OSHA, health, and safety guidelines.
Communicate with facility management regarding cleaning needs and improvements.
