About The Position

The Janitorial Supervisor oversees janitorial staff and coordinates cleaning operations to meet Amazon’s cleanliness and safety standards. The role includes scheduling, training, and performance management; monitoring supplies; conducting quality inspections; responding to urgent cleaning needs; and communicating with facility management about cleaning requirements and improvements. The supervisor also ensures compliance with OSHA, health, and safety guidelines.

The schedule is Wednesday through Saturday, 5:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST. Pay is $23 per hour; the specific offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data. The work involves physical activity and may include exposure to cleaning chemicals and warehouse conditions.

Requirements

• Previous experience in janitorial supervision, facility maintenance, or a related field.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a large warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
