About The Position

The Supervisor reports to the Senior Operation Manager and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of employees within the shift and assigned buildings. This role carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable State and Federal laws. The Supervisor will assist in managing the overall activities of a project(s), coordinate services activities for assigned buildings, and ensure that services are performed as contracted and meet customer specifications. Responsibilities include maintaining work schedules, conducting quality assurance checks, managing inventory and equipment, resolving on-site service delivery problems, and participating in ongoing management/technical skills development training programs, including safety committees. The role also involves conducting new employee orientations, developing employee skills, performing conference room setups and internal moves as needed, and maintaining effective customer relations.

Requirements

  • One to three years of supervisory experience.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of cleaning practices/procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Motivated individual and proactive.
  • Background check required.

Responsibilities

  • Overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of employees within the shift and assigned buildings.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable State and Federal laws.
  • Assist in managing the overall activities of a project(s), and supervise the project crew.
  • Coordinate services activities for assigned buildings.
  • Ensure that services are performed as contracted and meet the customer specifications.
  • Maintain/monitor work schedules of all shift personnel, including the preparation and submission of weekly payroll time sheets.
  • Establish/maintain work performance standards.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and manage materials inventory as well as general use of equipment, including key controls.
  • Manage snow removal services.
  • Resolve on-site services delivery problems.
  • Participate in on-going management/technical skills development training programs, including safety and safety site committee.
  • Conduct orientation of new employees, develop employees’ skills/abilities.
  • Perform conference room set ups and sometimes internal moves as needed.
  • Maintain effective on-going customer relations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Benefits

  • Compensation: $19.55 - $23.00 CAD Hourly
