About The Position
This is a part-time evening Janitorial Specialist role focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming learning environment for a large Huntsville school campus. The role offers a steady Monday through Friday evening schedule with no weekends, providing an active work environment with a direct impact on the school community.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be able to walk, stand, and lift up to 25 lbs consistently.
- A strong work ethic is a must.
Nice To Haves
- Prior cleaning or custodial experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness of a large school campus during evening hours.
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces and classrooms to ensure a safe environment.
- Perform floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the facility.
- Ensure restrooms are cleaned and fully restocked for the next school day.
