Janitorial/General Cleaner
About The Position
The Budd Group is hiring a Janitorial/General Cleaner to help maintain clean, sanitary, and safe Kershaw County school facilities in Lugoff, South Carolina. The role is available part-time or full-time, with Monday–Friday schedules. Part-time schedule options are 4:00 PM–8:00 PM, 4:00 PM–10:00 PM, or 5:00 PM–9:00 PM; the full-time schedule is 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Pay is $11.00 per hour. Training is provided, and the company describes opportunities for career advancement and free online classes. Job offers are contingent on successfully completing a background check, drug screen, and SLED screening.
Requirements
- Reliable, dependable, and hardworking attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds repetitively.
- Must pass a background check, drug screen, and SLED screening.
- Willingness to learn; training is provided.

- Prior cleaning experience is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning and sanitation duties at the school.
- Complete routine janitorial tasks, including taking out trash, dusting, and mopping.
- Sanitize restrooms and keep supplies stocked.
- Maintain floors through vacuuming and mopping.
- Work with the cleaning team to ensure classrooms are ready for learning.
