About The Position

The General Cleaner is a frontline Team Member responsible for cleaning and disinfecting facilities using 4M’s practices, green-sealed certified supplies, and equipment. The role includes maintaining clean and stocked spaces, providing courteous and reliable service, and noticing and reporting facility issues. Duties may vary.

The position is available full-time or part-time in Washington, Missouri, and the surrounding area, Monday through Friday. Full-time hours are 2:30 p.m.–10:30 p.m.; part-time hours are 5:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. The role pays $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Some janitorial experience is required.
• Must successfully complete a drug screening and background check.
• Must comply with safety guidelines.
• Must wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Use 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices with green-sealed certified supplies and equipment.
• Provide friendly, reliable, courteous, and resourceful service as a representative of 4M.
• Wipe down surfaces, including countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Notice and report needed repairs or replacements, as well as leaks and drips.
