About The Position

The General Cleaner performs janitorial cleaning and disinfecting duties using 4M’s cleaning practices, green-sealed certified supplies, and equipment. No prior janitorial experience is required; training is provided. The schedule is 1.5 hours per evening, Monday through Friday. The posting lists hourly pay as both $15.50 and $15.00.

Duties are representative and may vary. The cleaner is expected to be reliable, courteous, and resourceful, and to report repairs, replacements, leaks, or drips noticed while working. The role requires provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with the position and OSHA requirements.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• No janitorial experience is required; training is provided.
• Must successfully complete drug screening and a background check.
• Must comply with social-distancing requirements and safety guidelines.
• Must wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Wipe down surfaces such as countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report necessary repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips noticed while working.
• Follow 4M cleaning and disinfecting practices and applicable safety guidelines.
• Wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary.
