About The Position

We’re looking to hire a hard-working Floor Tech/Janitor who can maintain the cleanliness and safety of our building. They can clean and complete all cleaning duties, including vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing restrooms with soapy water, and emptying trash. The ideal candidate has a great work ethic, experience with cleaning equipment and supplies, and takes pride in a job well done.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
5 to 10 years of experience in janitorial services.
Ability to clean, maintain, and care for a variety of floor types, including tile, carpet, and brick.
Ability to complete assigned tasks efficiently and on schedule.
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
Previous experience in floor care, janitorial, or commercial cleaning.
Ability to operate, maintain, and care for floor cleaning equipment safely and properly.
Consistently follow safety protocols.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
A driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite, and must have Auto Insurance.
Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment.
Excellent stamina and physical health.
Must be a hard worker with close attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize restrooms, including family restrooms.
Clean, polish, and maintain sinks, countertops, toilets, glass, mirrors, chrome, stainless fixtures, and doors.
Sweep and mop floors on the 1st-3rd levels of the interior building.
Sweep, mop, and scrub all hard flooring, including bars, beverage stations, and the main stairwell.
Dust and mop the main lobby staircase.
Clean glass and railings on the main stairwell.
Clean and polish the interior and exterior of the main and service elevators, including tracks.
Sweep and mop the kitchen floor with degreaser, scrubbing as needed.
