About The Position

The Janitorial District Manager is responsible for ensuring company standards are met in compliance with operations and servicing contractual obligations to customers within a specified budget of labor and expense. This role involves managing daily labor, educating supervisors on payroll procedures, enforcing company policy, and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. The position also requires effective personnel management, including training, recognition, and disciplinary actions, as well as assisting with safety programs and accident reporting. Additionally, the manager will oversee supply ordering and management, work towards sales goals, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

  • Assists Branch Manager in equipment audits and purchasing.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or requested.

Responsibilities

  • Review daily labor for assigned District and educate supervisors on payroll procedures.
  • Adhere to and enforce established company policy and ensure subordinates do likewise.
  • Contact customers to ensure services meet service contract requirements and ensure customer retention.
  • Use proper personnel management skills to resolve problems with employee and supervisory personnel.
  • Carry out positive recognition and disciplinary action as needed, and train subordinates.
  • Assist in Safety programs follow-through to ensure compliance with all safety policies and administer company policy and safety requirements properly.
  • Report accidents involving personnel, vehicles, public liability, property damage, and fidelity claims.
  • Assist in district supply systems and with ordering supplies.
  • Ensure subordinates provide proper supply levels to all accounts within the supply expense budget.
  • Work consistently toward securing sales.
  • Maintain business in line with branch financial goals by managing job budgets and costs.
