About The Position

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Janitorial Crew Member to join its Janitorial Services Team. The role performs cleaning work according to standard procedures and the building’s operational schedule in a fast-paced environment. The advertised schedule is Sunday through Saturday, 4:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move totes weighing up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to walk frequently throughout the facility for the entire shift.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10–12 hours.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe chemical-handling documents, generally in English and sometimes in Spanish where state law requires.
• Non-exempt employees must download and use the KBSPresence app on a personal mobile device for work-related timekeeping and other tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors throughout the sales floor and seating area.
• Clean windows and mirrored surfaces and polish stainless steel surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, shelves, and products as needed.
• Maintain customer and team member restrooms, including cleaning and policing as needed.
• Complete sweep logs as directed.
• Operate and sanitize equipment safely and properly.
• Follow applicable health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
• Use the KBSPresence mobile app on a personal mobile device to record work hours and breaks, manage attendance, complete required training, and receive employment-related information.
