About The Position

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Janitorial Crew Member for its Janitorial Services Team. The role performs cleaning work according to standard procedures and the building’s operational schedule, helping maintain clean and welcoming facility spaces. The available shift is 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Monday through Sunday, with varying days off. Starting pay is $13.99 per hour. KBS employees working fewer than 30 hours per week are eligible to enroll in several company-offered benefits. Requirements

• Ability to lift and move totes weighing up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to walk frequently throughout the facility during the entire shift.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10–12 hours.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe chemical-handling instructions; documents are generally in English and may be in Spanish where required by state law.
• Non-exempt employees are required to download and use the KBSPresence app on a personal mobile device to clock in and out for shifts and breaks.

Responsibilities

• Perform work according to standard procedures and the building’s operational schedule.
• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors throughout the sales floor and seating area.
• Clean windows and mirrored surfaces and polish stainless steel surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, shelves, and products as needed.
• Maintain customer and team member restrooms, including cleaning and policing as needed.
• Complete sweep logs as directed.
• Operate and sanitize equipment safely and properly.
• Follow applicable health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
• Use the KBSPresence app to clock in and out for shifts and breaks, manage attendance, complete required training, and receive employment-related information.
