About The Position

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Janitorial Crew Member for its Janitorial Services Team. The role performs cleaning work according to standard procedures and the building's operational schedule. Tasks include cleaning rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows; cleaning floors and surfaces; maintaining customer and team member restrooms; completing sweep logs; and safely operating and sanitizing equipment. Employees must follow applicable health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices. The available shift is 4 a.m. to 9 a.m. Starting pay is $18.40 per hour. Employees working fewer than 30 hours per week are eligible to enroll in several company-offered benefits.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move totes weighing up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to walk frequently throughout the facility during the shift.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10–12 hours.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe chemical-handling documents, generally in English and sometimes in Spanish where state-required.
• Non-exempt employees must download and use the KBSPresence app on a personal mobile device for work-related timekeeping and information.

Responsibilities

• Perform work according to standard procedures and the building's operational schedule.
• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors throughout the sales floor and seating area.
• Clean windows and mirrored surfaces, and polish stainless steel surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, shelves, and products as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of customer and team member restrooms, including cleaning and policing as needed.
• Complete sweep logs as directed.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment safely and properly.
• Follow applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
• Use the KBSPresence mobile app on a personal mobile device to clock in and out, manage attendance, complete required training, and receive employment-related information.
