About The Position

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Janitorial Crew Member for its Janitorial Services Team. The position performs cleaning work according to standard procedures and the building’s operational schedule. The listed shift is 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a starting pay of $20.44 per hour. The work includes cleaning rooms and common areas, maintaining floors and surfaces, keeping customer and team-member restrooms clean, completing sweep logs, and safely operating and sanitizing equipment. Employees must follow applicable health, sanitation, and safe-work procedures. The role involves frequent walking around the facility and lifting and moving totes weighing up to 49 pounds.

Non-exempt employees are required to use KBS’s KBSPresence mobile timekeeping app on a personal mobile device to record work hours and breaks, manage attendance, complete required training, and receive employment-related information. KBS provides cell phone reimbursement in accordance with applicable local laws.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move totes weighing up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to walk frequently throughout the facility during the entire shift.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10–12 hours.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe chemical-handling materials, generally in English; Spanish materials may be available where required by state law.
• Non-exempt employees must download and use the KBSPresence app on a personal mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Perform work according to standard procedures and the building’s operational schedule.
• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors throughout the sales floor and seating area.
• Clean windows and mirrored surfaces and polish stainless steel surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, shelves, and products as needed.
• Maintain customer and team-member restrooms, including cleaning and policing them as needed.
• Complete sweep logs as directed.
• Operate and sanitize equipment safely and properly.
• Follow applicable health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager.
• Use the KBSPresence app on a personal mobile device to record work hours and breaks and complete other required employment-related tasks.
