About The Position

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Janitorial Crew Member for its Janitorial Services Team. The role performs cleaning work according to standard procedures and the building’s operational schedule, helping maintain clean and welcoming facility spaces. Available shifts are Monday to Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., or Saturday and Sunday, 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Starting pay is $16.50 per hour. KBS describes the position as offering a flexible schedule and opportunities to contribute to a growing team.

Employees must use the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping app on a personal mobile device to clock in and out, manage attendance, complete required training, and receive employment-related information. Cell phone reimbursement is provided in accordance with applicable local laws.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move totes weighing up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to walk frequently throughout the facility for the entire shift.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10–12 hours.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe-handling information for chemicals; materials are generally in English and may be available in Spanish where state-required.
• Non-exempt employees must download and use the KBSPresence app on a personal mobile device for work-related timekeeping and information.

Responsibilities

• Perform work according to standard procedures and the building’s operational schedule.
• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors throughout the sales floor and seating area.
• Clean windows and mirrored surfaces and polish stainless steel surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, shelves, and products as needed.
• Maintain customer and team member restrooms, including cleaning and policing as needed.
• Complete sweep logs as directed.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment safely and properly.
• Follow applicable health and sanitation procedures and safe work practices.
• Perform other duties assigned by a supervisor or manager.
• Use the KBSPresence app on a personal mobile device to record work hours and breaks, manage attendance, complete required training, and receive employment-related information.
