About The Position

The Janitorial Cleaner performs a variety of cleaning duties to keep assigned facilities clean, safe, and orderly. The role supports the appearance and sanitation of the workplace and helps provide a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors. This is a temporary vacation-replacement assignment with a possible duration of 3–5 months. The overnight shift is 11:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Pay is $19.23 per hour; the specific offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data.

Requirements

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and meet hygiene standards.
Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste according to company policies.
Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment and supplies.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
Follow safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
