About The Position

ABM is seeking a reliable and experienced Janitorial Cleaner to perform cleaning duties that maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment across assigned facilities. The role supports workplace appearance and sanitation for employees, clients, and visitors.

Schedules are 6 a.m.–6 p.m. Sunday–Tuesday with every other Wednesday, or 6 a.m.–6 p.m. Thursday–Saturday with every other Wednesday. The posting describes this as a suitable opportunity for someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
