About The Position

The Janitorial Cleaner is responsible for basic cleaning, including cleaning all common areas, restrooms, entrances, elevators, hallways, windows, furniture, fixtures, stairs, chairs, tables, telephones, drinking fountains, trash, dusting, polishing, and other assigned items/areas. We have multiple shifts available, as well as full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
Strong communication skills
Reliable transportation to and from job sites
Must be willing to work assigned hours
Able to perform the physical demands of the job, including bending, kneeling, carrying, lifting, reaching, and standing for extended periods

Responsibilities

Responsible for all basic cleaning
Clean, disinfect, and restock restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
Empty trash and recycling bins, and dispose of waste properly
Cleaning includes sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in all areas
Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuum cleaners
Follow all health and safety rules and company policies
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
Performs additional tasks as needed, including attending to flooded areas, incidental spills, and cleaning work related to trash and restrooms.
