About The Position

Velociti Services is hosting an on-site hiring event for multiple janitorial and facilities support positions. Candidates will have the opportunity to interview on the spot, with potential for same-day offers. The event details are: Date: Saturday, June 13, 2026, Time: 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Location: Velociti Office, 3663 Cherry Road, Memphis, TN 38118. Walk-ins are welcome, and no appointment is required. Applicants can apply online or attend the hiring event for immediate consideration. Please bring 2 forms of valid ID and an updated resume if available. Positions available include Day Porter, Cleaner (Evening Shift), Cleaner (Part-Time Evening), and Cleaner. Team members are responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties to ensure facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and transportation
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25–50 lbs
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Some locations may require a drug screening and/or TB screening
• Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds
• Lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments
• Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day
• Standing for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming)
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and break areas
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Maintain floors (including basic floor care as needed)
• Follow safety protocols and company standards
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors
• General cleaning
• Floor care
• Trash removal
• Restroom sanitation
• Maintaining common areas
