About The Position
SINOMAX is seeking a Janitor for our 1st shift. The primary responsibility is to maintain the cleanliness of the plant, including offices, bathrooms, and manufacturing areas. This role requires the ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and adhere to safety and quality regulations.
Requirements
- Self-driven and able to work without direct supervision.
- Ability to take on tasks independently to keep the facility in proper condition.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks.
- Working knowledge of custodial equipment and cleaning products.
- Must stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours per day or longer in overtime situations.
Responsibilities
- Clean designated areas of the plant as required, including restrooms, cafeterias, main aisles, offices, and smoking areas, using approved disinfectants and cleaning supplies.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum on a daily basis.
- Empty and remove trash and restock supplies.
- Operate and use a variety of cleaning equipment and tools.
- Observe department's safety regulations and use personal protective equipment as required.
- Adhere to plant policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), ISO 9002 regulations, and good housekeeping procedures.
- Complete tasks on time and thoroughly.
- Respond to emergency janitorial needs.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
