This position is responsible for performing various housekeeping tasks throughout the warehouse to maintain a clean and safe environment. The role involves operating equipment such as tuggers, forklifts, scissor lifts, and floor scrubbers, as well as performing general cleaning duties. Requirements

Always prioritize safety
Comply with all hazardous regulations at all times
Quick learner with the ability to acclimate to Ace Hardware policies and guidelines
Able to lift 50+ lbs. on a routine basis
Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including drug test and background

Responsibilities

Operate tugger throughout warehouse emptying trash cans
Bale cardboard: requires ability to learn to properly operate the baler, including keeping it clean and in safe condition
Operate forklift and scissor lift to perform various housekeeping tasks
Drive Tennant floor scrubber throughout warehouse; requires the ability to learn to properly operate the scrubber, including keeping it clean and in safe condition
Clean up all spills; requires the ability to be certified in cleaning up hazardous chemicals
Empty trash, sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, clean windows, clean warehouse break rooms and bathrooms
Comply with company policies, procedures, and best practices
All other duties as assigned
