About The Position

We are looking for a Janitor to perform a variety of cleaning duties in both office areas and shop areas using standard custodial equipment including power-cleaning tools. The role requires a strong commitment to good attendance and punctuality to meet production needs, and the ability to work safely and maintain an organized, lean work environment. The individual must also be flexible with changing assignments and be able to work overtime when required.

Requirements

Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all time.
Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person.
English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension)
Understand and follow verbal instructions.
Maintain focus on the assigned tasks throughout a scheduled shift
Be flexible with changing assignments.
Must be able to work overtime when required to meet operational deadlines.
Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time as it is critical to meet production needs.

Responsibilities

Sweep, vacuum, mop, and wax floors assigned.
Empty and dispose of waste baskets and replace linings.
Remove dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from work areas.
Clean restrooms and break areas including kitchen appliances (i.e., microwaves, refrigerators, toaster ovens, etc.).
Work safe and maintain an organized, lean work environment.
Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.
