This position is responsible for standard housekeeping and janitorial duties in all communal area buildings, including all parts of the Lodge, the Guide Haus, Sports Shop, Soft Cotton, and the Administration building. Requirements

Experience in a Janitorial position an asset.
Ability to work quickly with precision, organization, accuracy and take / follow direction.
Good organizational skills and ability to work with various computer systems.
Bondable.
Must be punctual for work shift.
Must always carry a radio and respond to requests from managers.
Adhere to the dress code which is black jeans and a supplied MWHS housekeeping shirt and jacket.
Name tags must be always worn and visible.
Maintain good grooming and personal hygiene standards.
Wear proper PPE where required (Personal Protective Equipment)

Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring the security of facilities while working; lock or unlocks doors, turn lights on/off, report anything that may be a safety or security issue that arises while on shift.
Performs all cleaning duties of halls, offices, lobbies, board rooms, change rooms, restrooms, lunchroom, and auditoriums as well as washing walls, windows, and window coverings in all buildings.
Ensure that resort is checked regularly for repairs and refurbishing, and that required maintenance is recorded.
Perform minor maintenance such as cleaning light fixtures, changing light bulbs, plunging toilets, and any simple light repairs as necessary.
Ensure that supplies are replaced in bathrooms, change rooms, and public areas.
Restock supplies in janitor closets in each building as necessary.
Communicate all problems and/or ideas to your supervisor.
Always ensure guest confidentiality.
Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner within company policies.
Professional conduct - communicate effectively and appropriately and always find a way to be productive.
Be responsible, ethical, team oriented, and possess effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
