About The Position

Utz Quality Foods is hiring a Janitorial Technician at its Broadway facility. This full-time role works Friday through Sunday, from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility by cleaning and sanitizing production areas, common spaces, and equipment to meet company standards for safety, food quality, and cleanliness. The role supports Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and a safe working environment for all team members.

Requirements

Ability to work well with others and maintain a positive, courteous attitude, particularly when cleaning shared spaces during busy periods.
Understanding and respect for staff members’ needs.
Ability to walk, bend, squat, and stand for extended periods.
Thoroughness in cleaning and organizing restrooms, cafeterias, and production spaces.
Strong time-management skills and consistent, punctual attendance.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks without direct supervision; the role operates as a team of one.
Safety awareness and adaptability.

Responsibilities

Clean restrooms and locker rooms in office and production areas and replenish supplies throughout the shift.
Fill paper and soap dispensers.
Empty garbage cans from various locations.
Clean and organize the cafeteria.
Collect recyclable cans, paper, and glass.
Vacuum rugs throughout the facility and pedestrian bridge.
Follow all safety rules and work safely at all times.
Report unsafe equipment and practices to a supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
