About The Position

Utz Quality Foods is hiring a Janitorial Technician at its Broadway facility. This full-time role works Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position cleans and sanitizes production areas, common spaces, and equipment to meet company standards for safety, food quality, and cleanliness. It also supports Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and a safe working environment for all team members. The role operates as a team of one and requires dependable, detail-oriented work, including cleaning shared spaces respectfully while the facility is busy. Requirements

Work well with others and maintain a positive, courteous attitude, especially when cleaning shared spaces during busy times; be understanding and respectful of staff members’ needs.
Ability to walk, bend, squat, and stand for extended periods.
Thoroughness in cleaning and organizing restrooms, cafeterias, and production spaces.
Strong time-management skills and consistent, punctual attendance.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks without direct supervision.
Safety awareness and adaptability.

Responsibilities

Clean restrooms and locker rooms in office and production areas and replenish supplies throughout the shift.
Fill paper and soap dispensers.
Empty garbage cans from various locations.
Clean and organize the cafeteria.
Collect recyclable cans, paper, and glass.
Vacuum rugs throughout the facility and pedestrian bridge.
Follow all safety rules and work safely at all times.
Report unsafe equipment and practices to the supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
