About The Position

This position is overnight, Monday to Friday, 9:30 pm to 6:00 am. Provides janitorial/housekeeping services on a daily basis at designated sites.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be able to pass a federal background check.
• Associates are required to follow Goodwill's safety rules and regulations, as outlined in Goodwill's policies.
• May have access to Confidential Information (CI) and is required to be familiar with the Goodwill Privacy policy 10.23 related to the handling of CI, and follow all related procedures required to protect the privacy and security of CI.
• Required to lift up to 50 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as business needs dictate.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma / GED not required.
• Previous experience is helpful but not required. Will train.
• No professional certifications are required for this position.
• The associate is not required to drive as part of their job duties.
• No computer skills are required.
• May be required to provide assistance with snow removal.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean environment by performing daily and scheduled tasks as required by the contract.
• Tasks include but are not limited to: dusting, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, emptying trash and replacing can liner, sweeping, dust mopping, wet mopping and glass cleaning.
• Monitors the use of supplies and request additional supplies as needed using a ‘just in time’ inventory system.
