About The Position
This role is responsible for maintaining various Mathis Home locations, including the main facility, corporate offices, and off-campus sites, in a sanitary and infection-free condition. This involves washing, cleaning, and replacing equipment, as well as proper disposal of trash. The position requires adherence to procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to fixtures and floors. Daily tasks include cleaning building floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming, servicing and supplying restrooms, and cleaning windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
Requirements
- Ability to repetitively lift heavy equipment of 50 lbs.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
- Positive attitude when working with others.
- Knowledge of employment, safety, and warehouse policies.
- Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs rarely, 20 lbs occasionally, and 10 lbs frequently.
Responsibilities
- Maintain main facility, corporate offices, and off-campus locations in a sanitary and infection-free condition through washing, cleaning, and replacement of equipment.
- Dispose of trash according to procedures.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate tools and cleaners.
- Perform other related work as required.
