About The Position

Tessera is seeking a motivated and reliable Janitor with a professional attitude. As a Janitor with Tessera, you will perform a variety of cleaning tasks to include sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal. Additionally, you will work directly with a teammate on an assigned route across Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate with others in a courteous and helpful way.
  • Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain stamina to perform assigned duties.
  • Valid state driver license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance carrier.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access.
  • A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
  • Access to this federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military ID, in accordance with the REAL ID Act.

Responsibilities

  • Restroom Cleaning – sanitize and clean all toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, partitions, walls & doors. Restock supplies. Collect trash and replace liners. Sweep and mop floor. Follow cross contamination procedures.
  • Office Cleaning – sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule.
  • Halls and High Traffic area Cleaning – sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule.
  • Entrances and Exits Cleaning – sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean entry doors according to schedule.
  • Trash – Empty trash in office areas, lunchrooms, coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker according to schedule.
  • Supply Restocking – restock supplies according to schedule.
  • Dusting – dusting in restrooms, shower/locker areas, according to schedule.
  • Stairwell Cleaning – sweep, mop, vacuum, and wipe handrails according to schedule.
  • Shower Cleaning – clean all shower stalls, damp wipe for dust, restock supplies, mop floors following cross contamination procedures.
  • Janitorial Supply Closet/Locker – keep clean and organized.
