This position is responsible for performing specific assigned janitorial duties on commercial or other contracts while working to ensure contractual expectations are met or exceeded. Requirements

High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
Must be 18 years old.
Background check required per contract requirements.
Conduct self in a professional manner conducive to a productive work environment.
Demonstrate good judgment, responsibility and initiative.
Possess knowledge of basic janitorial services.
Ability to work with various types of internal and external customers.
Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk and stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift heavy items if required.
Ability to travel between multiple worksites during the second shift (3:00pm-11:30pm).
Must allow photographs and fingerprints in order to work at any of Utilities’ facilities where background checks are deemed necessary by Utilities’ Security.

Responsibilities

Perform necessary janitorial duties assigned during shifts to the standard in the Statement of Work.
Clean bathrooms and showers.
Sweep, mop, and buff floors.
Clean mirrors, windows, and glass doors, stairwells and walls.
Empty trash.
Vacuum carpets.
Address immediate needs of the customer.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the Statement of Work.
Adhere to quality procedures.
Wear appropriate badges per the contract.
Attend training as required for job specific requirements to ensure customer satisfaction.
Report to work prepared to accomplish duties as assigned.
Consistently communicate areas of concern or issues in an appropriate and timely manner to Supervisor / Site Manager for resolution.
